Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13
We live in a culture that seeks to redefine and in may ways tear down the biblical manhood that God describes and designed in His Word. Biblical manhood is vital for the home and church. At First Baptist Church we understand the importance God’s Word places on men being the leader God desires within the home and church. We have a heart to help each man grow in his God-given, leadership responsibilities. As such, we want to help them be strengthened in their personal relationship with Christ. Christ must be the focal point of their home and the church.
Ways in which we do this from year to year is by encouraging one-on-one accountability, weekly men’s morning prayer, men’s retreat, strong Sunday School electives to further their biblical understanding, and many different opportunities to serve as needs and opportunities arrive. We desire that the men learn to serve as leaders.

We meet weekly on Thursday morning at 7:00am over Zoom to pray for each other and our church. Some of us then go out for breakfast together as work and life allows.
1-on-1
Get Connected. Go Deeper.
We desire for every man to be the leader and out side their home as God desires. We desire to see each man grow deeper in their relationship with God. Part of that process is greatly aided by getting connected with another man and studying the Bible together. It is simply walking through life together to the glory of God. If you would like to get connected with someone or you are going through a tough patch in life, contact us or come to a service and join in worshipping our great and awesome God!
